Reastast S.A.S., with Tax ID 1793245678001 and registered office at Av. República del Salvador N34-183 y Suiza, Quito, Ecuador (hereinafter, «Reastast» or «we»), respects your privacy and protects your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Law of Ecuador (LOPDP), published in Official Registry Supplement 459 of 26 May 2021, and its implementing regulation.
1. Data controller
The controller of your data is Reastast S.A.S., a company incorporated in 2021 before the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance of Ecuador under file 729184. For data protection enquiries, please write to privacy@reastast.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you voluntarily provide through the newsletter subscription form: full name and email address. We also collect technical browsing data such as IP address, device type and approximate city, provided you have accepted the relevant cookies.
3. Purposes of processing
We process your data to send you the newsletter on real estate crowdlending, respond to your queries, comply with legal obligations and improve the site experience. We do not make automated decisions with legal effects based solely on your data.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis is your express consent, granted when you submit the form, and compliance with tax and commercial obligations under Ecuadorian law.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your subscription remains active and, once you unsubscribe, for the period required to comply with legal obligations (up to 7 years for billing and backups).
6. Recipients
We do not transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be processed by technology providers (email delivery, hosting, analytics) acting as processors under contract and with equivalent protection measures.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction, portability and not being subject to automated decisions at any time, by emailing privacy@reastast.com together with a copy of your ID. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection of Ecuador.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), access controls, audit logs and internal staff training.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect regulatory or service changes. Any modification will be posted on this same page, indicating the update date.
